Delta Air Lines is an american airline and the largest in the world by aircraft count. It was founded in 1929 as an agricultural airline called Huff Dalland Dusters and received its nowadays name in 1941. Northwest Airlines was taken over by Delta in 2008. Delta has its headquarters in Atlanta and is a Skyteam member.
