Boeing 717 is a twin engined jet aircraft that was developed as McDonnel Douglas MD95. It can carry up to 130 passengers. After McDonnel Douglas was taken over by Boeing the project was renamed to B717. On 2nd september 1998 it completed its maiden flight. When production ended in 2006 there were produced a total of 156 Boeing 717.
