The Airbus 340-200 is a four engined widebody long haul aircraft and can carry up to 300 passengers in 2 classes configuration. The A340 is nearly identical with the A330. In 1994 an Airbus A340-200 draw a new record for 4 engined aircrafts on a test flight from Paris to Auckland with quite more than 19.000 km. Just a few aircrafts of the -200 version were built. The -300 version was the most built A340.
